Bathinda, Punjab: As part of its ongoing drive to curb illegal activities and maintain public law and order, Bathinda Police (PS Kotwali) conducted a raid on an illegal gambling operation being run behind Agni Dhaba.
During the operation, four persons were apprehended while gambling, and a case has been registered against them under the Gambling Act, 1967. The police also seized ₹8,600 in cash and playing cards from the spot.
Bathinda Police reaffirmed that strict action against gambling and other anti-social activities will continue to ensure peace, safety, and a lawful environment in the district.
