Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka: An awareness programme under the Akka Pade initiative was conducted at Ashraya Nursing College, Gavanahalli, in Chikkamagaluru city to educate students on safety and emergency preparedness.
During the programme, students were sensitized about the 118 Women’s Helpline and 112 Emergency Service, along with key aspects of cyber safety and online awareness. Guidance was also provided on traffic rules and road safety, emphasizing responsible behavior and personal safety.
The session was well received by the students and aimed at empowering young women with essential knowledge to respond effectively during emergencies and to stay safe in both physical and digital spaces.
