Hyderabad, Telangana: A large-scale Cordon and Search Operation was conducted on the night of 16 February 2026 within the jurisdiction of the Tolichowki Police Station, covering Paramount Colony (Gates 1–4), IAS Colony, and Hakeempet Kunta.
Acting on credible intelligence inputs regarding illegal stay and other unlawful activities, police teams, along with officials from the Foreigners Regional Registration Office, carried out extensive verification drives in the area.
During the operation, 23 foreign nationals were identified and apprehended for overstaying their visas. Necessary legal proceedings have been initiated in coordination with FRRO authorities.
In addition, police seized:
- 30 two-wheelers without valid documentation
- 9 gas cylinders (3 large and 6 small) allegedly used for illegal refilling
- 53 liquor bottles (180 ml and 90 ml) found in unlawful possession or sale
The operation was aimed at strengthening law enforcement, preventing illegal activities, and ensuring public safety in the locality.
The coordinated effort reflects proactive policing and the commitment of Tolichowki Police to maintaining law and order within their jurisdiction.
