Hyderabad, Telangana: The International Women’s Day celebrations were held in a grand manner at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, highlighting the strength and achievements of women under the special theme “Give to Gain.”
The programme witnessed the participation of several dignitaries and prominent personalities who spoke about women empowerment and their role in building a progressive society.
The event was attended by Chief Guest G. Srijana, IAS, Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (Cyberabad Zone). The Guests of Honour included M. Ramesh, IPS, Commissioner of Cyberabad Police.
Other notable participants included Vijay Ram, founder of SAVE Organization, and renowned nutritionist and psychologist Nida Fatima, who shared insights on health, well-being, and empowerment.
DCPs from various wings, police officers, officials from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, farmers, and women representatives from different sectors also participated in the programme.
The main objective of the celebrations was to honour the strength of women, recognize their vital role in society, and spread awareness about healthy lifestyles. Speakers emphasized that empowering women is key to achieving positive and sustainable social change.
The event reflected the commitment of the Cyberabad Police towards promoting gender equality and supporting the empowerment of women in all spheres of life.
