Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu: In a proactive move to ensure effective election preparedness, Sushant Kumar Saxena conducted a surprise inspection at the Sengottai Police Station on March 23, 2026.
During the inspection, the officer reviewed key aspects including law and order, recent crime incidents, and the status of weapon surrender in compliance with election guidelines. He also examined the progress in execution of warrants, including Non-Bailable Warrants, and emphasized the need for prompt action on pending cases.
Further, detailed instructions were issued to police personnel regarding the effective deployment of Central Armed Police Forces, in accordance with the norms of the Election Commission of India.
The visit underscores the administration’s commitment to maintaining strict vigilance and ensuring a peaceful, transparent, and well-regulated election process.
