Madurai, Tamil Nadu: The “Festival of Elections” in Tamil Nadu was conducted smoothly, thanks to the strong and well-coordinated security arrangements by the Tamil Nadu Police.
In view of the upcoming vote-counting process, Madurai City Police Commissioner Mr. Abhishek Dixit, IPS, carried out a detailed inspection of the security measures at the designated counting centers, including Madurai College and Thiagarajar College.
During the visit, the Commissioner thoroughly reviewed the deployment of police personnel, surveillance systems, and overall security protocols at the locations where ballot boxes are securely stored. He also issued necessary instructions to ensure foolproof arrangements for the counting day.
The proactive approach of the Madurai City Police reflects their commitment to ensuring a transparent, peaceful, and secure electoral process.
