Hyderabad, Telangana: In a successful operation, the Commissioner’s Task Force, Jubilee Hills Zone Team, along with Jubilee Hills Police, apprehended three individuals, including two peddlers and one consumer, involved in the illegal possession and distribution of Hash Oil.
The accused, identified as Shankrulla Akhil (30), Pokhrel Sandeep (25), and Shaik Anwar (28), were taken into custody. Police seized 45 bottles of Hash Oil (5 ml each), 185 grams of loose Hash Oil, and three mobile phones, with a total value of ₹1,02,500.
Investigation revealed that the prime accused, Akhil, sourced the narcotic substance from a supplier in Araku and distributed it in Hyderabad for financial gain. He supplied the contraband to co-accused Sandeep and others, while Anwar was found to be a consumer.
Police emphasized that drug abuse poses a serious threat to society, impacting health, careers, and families. Citizens, especially youth, have been urged to stay away from narcotics and report any suspicious activities to the police, reinforcing the collective effort towards a drug-free society.
