Hyderabad, Telangana: In a proactive initiative, H-FAST Hyderabad conducted an awareness meeting with oil manufacturers and suppliers to strengthen food safety and legal compliance. The session emphasized strict adherence to FSSAI norms, banning the sale of loose and unbranded edible oil, and ensuring proper packaging, labelling, and hygiene standards.
Officials warned of strict legal action against violations and provided stakeholders 15 days to comply fully with the guidelines. The initiative aims to curb food adulteration and safeguard public health.
Participants welcomed the move and assured full cooperation, reflecting a strong step towards ensuring safe and quality food products for the public.
