Madurai, Tamil Nadu: Ahead of the vote counting for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections, Madurai City Police conducted a flag march to maintain law and order and reassure the public.
Acting under the direction of Police Commissioner Mr. Abhishek Dixit, personnel from City Police, GSAP, and Central Paramilitary Forces jointly carried out the march within the limits of B6 Jaihindpuram Police Station.
The coordinated effort enhanced police visibility, boosted public confidence, and ensured a peaceful atmosphere in the lead-up to the counting process.
