Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: As part of Mission Shakti 5 – Empowered Women, Empowered State, Banthara Police conducted an awareness programme for women and girls in Trilochan Kheda village under the guidance of the Lucknow Police Commissioner and the leadership of the DCP (South).
During the programme, participants were educated about women’s safety, legal rights, available support services, and the importance of reporting crimes and harassment. The initiative aimed to empower women and girls with knowledge, confidence, and awareness to help them lead safer and more independent lives.
The awareness drive reflects the police department’s commitment to strengthening women’s safety and promoting social empowerment at the grassroots level.
