Madurai, Tamil Nadu: A review meeting regarding law and order for the Madurai and Dindigul ranges was held on June 7, 2026, at the Madurai District Police Office. Mr. T.S. Anbu, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), Tamil Nadu, presided over the meeting. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) – South Zone, the Commissioner of Police – Madurai City, the Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs) of the Madurai and Dindigul ranges, and the Superintendents of Police (SPs) of Madurai, Virudhunagar, Dindigul, and Theni districts participated in the meeting. Discussions were held regarding the law and order situation, and the Additional Director General of Police provided advice and instructions to the officers on maintaining law and order.
