Ladakh: Reinforcing its commitment to protecting young people from the dangers of narcotics, the Ladakh Police have joined His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s heartfelt appeal urging the youth of Ladakh to stay away from drugs and substance abuse.
Supporting the powerful message of awareness and responsibility, the police emphasized that safeguarding the younger generation from the menace of narcotics is a shared responsibility of families, educational institutions, community leaders, and law enforcement agencies.
Ladakh Police reaffirmed their resolve to continue strengthening anti-drug enforcement, expanding awareness programmes, and working closely with the public to prevent substance abuse among youth. The department also encouraged citizens to support its efforts by remaining vigilant and reporting drug-related activities.
Through sustained awareness campaigns, community engagement, and strict action against drug traffickers, the Ladakh Police continue to promote a healthy, safe, and drug-free future for the youth and the region as a whole.
