Hyderabad City, Telangana: The Commissioner’s Task Force, Jubilee Hills Zone Team, in coordination with Banjara Hills Police, apprehended two accused involved in a house-breaking by night case registered under Cr. No. 648/2026, U/s 331(4), 305(a) BNS of Banjara Hills Police Station. The police recovered intact stolen gold ornaments weighing 1 Kg 28.59 grams.
The accused, who are siblings, allegedly exploited one of their employment positions at a jewellery export company to execute the theft. After conducting reconnaissance, they unlawfully entered the office during the night by switching off the power supply and breaking a bathroom grill, and stole gold ornaments kept in the office locker. The stolen property was later concealed by the second accused.
Based on CCTV footage, technical evidence, and sustained investigation, the Jubilee Hills Zone Task Force and Banjara Hills Police identified and apprehended both accused at Mangalhat, Hyderabad, recovering the entire stolen property intact, including seven gold necklaces and seven pairs of gold earrings, weighing a total of 1.028 kg.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Sri G. Vaibhav Raghunath, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad.
