Bidhan Nagar, West Bengal: Airport Police Station conducted a raid on the night of September 14, 2026, at the residence of Natoraj Roy, a resident of Sarat Colony under Airport Police Station jurisdiction, in connection with the alleged unauthorized sale of liquor.
During the operation, police seized 50 bottles of liquor, including 39 bottles of country spirit (Joy) and 11 bottles of different brands of FL liquor, with a total quantity of approximately 24,750 ml.
The accused, Natoraj Roy, was arrested, and a specific case has been registered in connection with the alleged unauthorised sale of liquor.
The seizure demonstrates the vigilance and prompt enforcement action of Airport Police against illegal liquor-related activities. Further investigation is underway.
