Kolkata, West Bengal: Kolkata Police observed September 17 as a day dedicated to Seva (service) and community welfare on the occasion of the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
For Kolkata Police, public service remains an integral part of their daily responsibilities. From protecting citizens and assisting people in distress to supporting vulnerable sections of society, the force continues to place public safety and welfare at the centre of its duties.
To mark the occasion, Lalbazar Police Headquarters was specially decorated, with glimpses of the arrangements shared as part of the observance.
On the occasion, Kolkata Police reaffirmed their commitment to serving citizens with integrity, compassion and courage, while continuing to uphold the safety, dignity and well-being of every citizen.
