Thrissur Rural, Kerala: Thrissur Rural District Police, under the leadership of District Police Chief Mohammed Nadeem, IPS, conducted an awareness session and safety briefing for auto-rickshaw, bus, lorry and school-bus drivers within the jurisdiction of Irinjalakuda Police Station.
As part of the “My Journey is Safe” initiative, drivers were sensitised on the importance of road safety, responsible driving and ensuring the safety of passengers, particularly school children.
The programme reflects the proactive efforts of Thrissur Rural Police to promote safer road practices, strengthen public awareness and reduce road accidents through community engagement.
The initiative reinforces the message that safe driving is a shared responsibility, with drivers playing a vital role in protecting lives on the road.
