Hyderabad City, Telangana: Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, personally inspected the key routes of the Ganesh immersion procession by riding a bike, reviewing security and traffic arrangements on the ground.
The Commissioner visited important locations, including Mozamjahi Market (MJ Market), Bashirbagh, Liberty and other major junctions along the procession route. During the inspection, he interacted with police officials and enquired about the security arrangements, traffic management and other preparations being made to ensure the smooth movement of the procession.
Sajjanar directed officers to take advance measures to prevent the procession from getting halted at any point and to ensure the uninterrupted movement of devotees and procession vehicles.
He instructed police personnel to maintain strict vigilance throughout the route and take immediate preventive measures to avoid any untoward incidents. Officers were also asked to ensure that devotees participating in the procession do not face inconvenience.
The Commissioner stressed the need for close coordination among all personnel deployed for the procession. He directed the staff to remain alert, continuously monitor the situation and respond promptly to any emerging issue.
The inspection was aimed at strengthening field-level arrangements and ensuring that the Ganesh immersion procession proceeds peacefully and in an orderly manner across the city.
