Hyderabad City, Telangana: The sleuths of the Commissioner’s Task Force, Jubilee Hills Zone Team, Hyderabad, along with the local police, apprehended three habitual offenders involved in a series of house-breaking and property offences across multiple Commissionerates and also arrested one receiver of stolen property.
The accused, led by Derangula Hari Babu @ Nani, who was released from jail in June 2026, regrouped with associates and resumed committing house-breaking and theft offences. Collectively, they are involved in 11 recent cases registered in Gowraram, Sangareddy Town, Pocharam IT Corridor, Nagole, Kushaiguda, Medipally, Vanasthalipuram and Suraram Police Stations.
Police recovered 80 grams of gold, 258 grams of silver ornaments, four mobile phones, two motorcycles, and house-breaking tools, with the total seized property valued at ₹12,00,000.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Inspector Ch. Yadender, West Zone Task Force, and SI D. Ravi Raj, Jubilee Hills Zone Task Force, along with their staff.
