Srinagar: It has reported that the Indian Army and State Police had launched a joint operation at Bungam district of Jammu and Kashmir. During the operation, there was a cross firing between the security forces and terrorist where 1 militant was gunned down by the security forces. The encounter began at Kanipora area when the combined operation was launched on Friday, officials said. The arms and ammunition had recovered from the dead terrorist. However, identity and affiliation of the person is yet to be ascertained. The security forces continue their joint operation bravely. ]]>
