Anantapur: District SP Dr. Fakkirappa Kaginelli IPS today held a zoom meeting with the Essay and then level police officers and women police of the village/ward secretariats in the district. During the meeting, the SP said the Direction SOS app should be widely publicized, widely downloaded, and registered. College/school students should be made aware of the laws that provide for the safety and protection of women. Eliminate fear among village women and stand safe for them
The SP said measures should be taken to stand up for the victims of heinous crimes. The government should co-operate to ensure that the benefits accrue to the victims Jogini system, child marriages should be prevented. Efforts should be made to eradicate social evils.
