Kashmir: The Kashmir Traffic Police while conducting the vehicle check at Naka point at Barsoo crossing Awantipora, the Police intercepted a private car, Alto 800 to do the checking. While checking the vehicle the police recovered 53 bottles of liquor that was placed in the car and the two persons were illegally carrying the liquor bottles. The registration number of the private car, Alto 800 is JK13E/5877.
Both persons namely Bashir Ahmad Bhat & Ali Mohd Mir are residents of Awantipora who in the vehicle and carrying the liquor bottles have been arrested by personal of the Awantipora Police Station. The vehicle used in the commission of crime has also been seized by the Police. In this connection, a case was filed in Awantipora Police station and an FIR was registered with number 05/2020 u/s 50 Excise Act. The investigation has been initiated.
