Bathinda, Punjab: In view of the upcoming Basant Panchami festival, Bathinda Police has put in place strong security arrangements to ensure public safety and a peaceful celebration. Under the leadership of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Bathinda, Ms. Jyoti Yadav Bains IPS and in coordination with the SP City Bathinda and DySP City-1 Bathinda, intensive surveillance is being conducted across major areas of the city.
To effectively prevent the use of the banned Chinese string (China Dor), police teams are monitoring sensitive locations using binoculars and drones. The proactive measures aim to curb hazardous practices that pose serious risks to both human life and birds.
Bathinda Police have appealed to all citizens to cooperate by strictly avoiding the use of Chinese string during the festival. Emphasizing community responsibility, the police have urged everyone to celebrate Basant Panchami in a safe, lawful, and joyful manner.
