Bihar, Patna: In a significant crackdown on criminal activities, the Bihar Special Task Force (STF), in collaboration with the district police, arrested notorious sand mafia kingpin Shravan Kumar from the Bihta police station area in Patna district. The arrest followed a meticulously planned operation aimed at curbing illegal sand mining and associated criminal activities in the region.
During the operation, law enforcement officials recovered a substantial cache of weapons and other items from Shravan Kumar’s possession. This included two regular rifles, a semi-automatic rifle, and a total of 102 live cartridges, showcasing the extent of his involvement in illegal arms trade and potentially violent activities. Additionally, a Bolero SUV, likely used for his illicit operations, was also seized, along with other incriminating materials.
This joint action is seen as a major victory in the ongoing fight against organized crime and illegal sand mining in Bihar, highlighting the commitment of the police and STF in tackling such influential criminal networks.
