Coimbatore: In Coimbatore, at the Coimbatore City C2 Race Road Police Station, a case bearing Crime No. 25/2019, under Section 174 (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPc), as well as Sections 498 (A) and 306 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), has reached its conclusion. The accused in this case is Ganesh Kumar, aged 38, residing at G.No.10 Addis Road, Coimbatore.
After a thorough investigation and legal proceedings, the Coimbatore Women Court, presided over by Judge Mrs. Nandini Devi, delivered the verdict. The judge found Ganesh Kumar guilty of the charges brought against him and subsequently imposed a sentence upon him. Under Section 498A of the IPC, Ganesh Kumar was sentenced to one year of imprisonment and directed to pay a fine of Rs.500/-. Additionally, under Section 306 of the IPC, he was sentenced to five years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs.500/-.
This outcome was made possible due to the remarkable competence of the public prosecutor, Mrs. Jisha, who played a pivotal role in confirming the charges against the accused. Her dedicated efforts and efficient handling of the case ensured that justice was served.
