Nizamabad: The Nizamabad Police Commissioner Mr. KR Nagraj IPS, today conducted a counseling meeting for cannabis users in the conference hall of the Nizamabad Excise Department under the Nizamabad Excise Department on the instructions of the Telangana State DGP. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Naveen Chandra Gari, District Probation Excise Officer.
On the occasion, the Commissioner of Police said that as per the directions of the Telangana Chief Minister, all measures will be taken to make Nizamabad a cannabis-free district as per the directions of the state DGP. It should always be noted that the youth should always walk in the right path, the youth advised their parents to do very small things and feed their children, the parents are working hard for their children’s education in many ways, the youth should remember their hardship and refrain from their bad habits and get better. This is the first time that counseling has been conducted for all those found smoking cannabis in Nizamabad on Sunday. “Surveillance has been beefed up,” he said.
Afterward, psychiatrists under the supervision of Dr. Vishal Gary informed the cannabis users about the dangers in their bodies. Explained the precautions to be taken before consuming narcotics. He said that the dangers of using drugs can be seen on YouTube on “Dr. Vishal Aakula”. The Darbhanga has released pamphlets on the dangers of drugs.
