Raipur: In a significant operation targeting the illicit drug trade, the CSP Striking Force executed a momentous action. During the operation, a startling discovery was made when a mobile charger came under scrutiny. Upon inspection, it was revealed that the charger contained a concealed compartment holding a white, transparent plastic membrane filled with a highly potent and illegal substance known as heroin, specifically the variant called chitta.
The authorities swiftly took possession of the contraband, which amounted to a total weight of 23 grams. Based on market prices, the estimated value of the seized heroin is valued at an approximate amount of Rs.1,15,000/-. This substantial recovery serves as a significant blow to the illegal drug trade network.
In response to this grave offense, the concerned authorities have taken immediate action. Crime number 251/2023 has been registered under Section 21(B) of the NDPS Act at Police Station Amanaka. This legal action ensures that the accused involved in this drug-related crime will face the appropriate consequences as per the established laws governing narcotics.
