Chennai: Zomato employee arrested for door-to-door delivery of narcotic pills. According to the secret information received that they are selling narcotic pills, Kilpauk Deputy Commissioner of Special Force contacted the person on mobile phone and said that they want narcotic pills. After this, the man was caught red-handed by the police when he was bringing the drugs. On investigation, it was revealed that the person was Muniyasamy (20) from Arumbakkam MMDA Colony. It was also revealed that he has completed his tenth standard and is currently working as a delivery boy at Zomato.
Also, Muniyaswamy said that he had developed a habit with Raji from MGR Nagar area and he would pay a lot of money if he delivered the drug pills to his home. He said that he was delivering drugs because he was desperate for money because the police would not be suspicious if he carried drugs in Zomato and he has been delivering drugs for the past two months. Following this, the police arrested Muniyaswamy and seized 610 narcotic pills from him. Police are also looking for Raji from MGR Nagar.
