Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur: In Bilaspur, authorities took action against individuals involved in gambling activities near Mannu Chowk, Tikrapara, and Juna Bilaspur Hatri Chowk under Section 3(2) of the CG Gambling (Prohibition) Act. The accused were apprehended while attempting to flee under the cover of darkness. A total of Rs. 44,400 and 52 playing cards were seized in connection with two incidents.
Among those arrested were individuals identified as Sapin Kesari, Rupesh Shrivas, Ritesh Bole, Sauram Das, Shubham Godre, Rahul Bole, Umesh Vishwakarma, Dinesh Vishwakarma, Sunil, Himanshu Devangan, and Ranu Devangan all belonging to Bilaspur District.
