NEW DELHI: A bag containing Rs 1 lakh in cash and other valuables that was lost was returned back to owner by a honest and sincere officer constable of CISF in New Delhi. The incident happened at the Dwarka Sector 21 Metro station on Thursday. A passenger forgot the bag at the X-ray baggage inspection system (XBIS) machine, the CISF officer said. The Central Industrial Security Force constable, Mr. Prahalad Meena, informed others about the bag and the bomb detection and disposal squad (BDDS) was called to the spot to examine it. “As no one came to claim the bag despite repeated announcements, it created a scare. When it was opened we found Rs 1 lakh in cash and other valuables in it” said Mr. Prahalad Meena. Later the bag was taken to the station controller when after sometime a commuter from Agra, Shyam Sundar, came looking for it.
