Rachakonda: Break The Bias and Stop Drugs, the campaign started with a Grand Walk with 3000 plus members in TKR College under the leadership of Hon’ble Minister for Education Telangana State Mrs. Sabitha Indra Reddy, Mr. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat IPS, Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, TKR group of institutions Chairman Mr. Teegala Krishna Reddy, ZP Chairman Ranga Reddy District, Dr. Teegala Anitha Harinadh Reddy on 3 March 2022.

The program started with the flagging off by a solidarity WALK by the TKR group of institutions Chairman Mr. Teegala Krishna Reddy. Mr. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat IPS Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, ZP Chairman Ranga Reddy District, Mayor Meerpet, Mrs. Deeplal Chauhan, DCP LB Nagar Mr. Sunpreet Singh IPS, DCP SHE teams Mrs. Salima IPS, ACP Cyber Crimes Rachakonda, Harinath, Rachakonda Security Council (RKSC) General Secretary Mr. Satish Vadlamani, RKSC Women’s forum Joint Secretary Ms. Latha Ramasubramayam, Chief Coordinator RKSC Savithri M, Women’s forum members Ms. Archana Manne, Mr. Siva Karadi, Various Police officials, Media Partners, TKR college authorities, students participated for an Inclusive World and eradicate drugs.

Mrs. Sabita Indra Reddy spoke about the prevailing Education specific challenges thrown by the pandemic and the challenges faced by the parents. She emphasized the need for healthy parenting for a better society. Minister urged students to stay away from the anti-social elements and aim for a better future that can bring prosperity to self and society and state at large. She also appreciated TKR institutions for providing all the necessary facilities on campus and enabling students to pursue their dreams. She encouraged youth to drive towards an Inclusive World with an emphasis on Gender Equality, a safe and progressive society. She spoke about how the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. KCR Garu emphasized eradicating the drug menace from the state.

Mr. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat IPS Commissioner of Police Rachakonda spoke about the conscious effort required in the society and emphasized that the need of the hour is to encourage the needs of the youth to bring in the transformation from their homes. The informed youth need to be cognizant of the societal impact. He also reflected on anti-social elements in which youth are getting distracted, spoke about how Drugs were one of such anti-social elements destroying the future, and urged them to stay away from these anti-social elements. This program reflects on safety and security.

Mr. Teegala Krishna Reddy, chairman acknowledged the Government support and he expressed his gratitude towards the faculty and emphasized the students to nurture themselves and mold themselves to the requirement of the society and give back to society

Dr.Teegala Anitha Harinadha Reddy explained to the students about the side effects of the Drugs and how they can impact their health, family and their life as a whole. She urged them to focus on education and reach greater heights in their life.

Mrs. Deeplal Chauhan, Mayor Meerpet, presented her views on how parents struggle to provide education to their children. She insisted the students become worthy citizens. Mrs. Salima IPS, DCP She Teams briefed the students on the different helpline options that they can reach out to in distress situations and affirmed She Teams availability for any kind of support and encouraged students to raise their voice and build the courage to overcome the limitations using the legal support available. Mr. Harinath, ACP-Cyber Crimes, cautioned the students to be aware of the cyber crimes and requested students to outsmart then their smartphones by applying all the safety measures on social media and sharing how they can reach for help in case of exigency.

Ms.Devika – Amrutha Foundation detailed the students on the ill-effects of the Drugs how it can break down the nervous system and make them incapable and inefficient and ruin their life. A Pledge “Say No to drugs was taken by all” which was inspiring.

RKSC Gen Secretary Mr. Satish Vadlamani and RKSC Jt Secretary Women’s Forum set the context by giving an overview of Rachakonda Security Council and their work that is executed through various forums.

At the end of the program, all have expressed their solidarity by posing the IWD BreakTheBlas theme. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Sunpreet Singh, IPS, DCP LB Nagar, and the National Anthem.
