Srinagar: Police under the aegis of Civic Action Program (CAP) distributed wheel chairs and other hearing machine among specially-abled persons at District Police Lines Ganderbal. Besides, distribute school bags and stationery items among needy children.
SSP Ganderbal Mr. Nikhil Borkar IPS distributed wheel chairs and hearing aids among more than 60 specially-abled persons. Besides, distribute school bags and stationery items among as many students of the district.
SSP Ganderbal while interacting with the beneficiaries assured them all possible support from Police department in order to make their lives easy and comfortable. He said that the persons with physical challenges need to be taken care-off by the society. He further stated that Police department will always play its eminent role in this regard. He advised the Police officers and jawans to show empathy and kindness towards such segment of the society and come forward with helping hands to make them feel part and parcel of the society. He also asked the beneficiaries not to allow their physical hindrances and infirmities to come in their ways and to stay active in their lives in pursuit goals.
Deputy SP DAR DPL Ganderbal Mr. Muzaffar Jan JKPS, RI DPL Ganderbal and other senior Police officers were also present on the occasion.
