<![CDATA[Kanchipuram: Mr. Abdul Rahman is running a supermarket in Kanchipuram. On 25.09.2018, after closing his shop and as he was returning home in his two wheeler a car that followed him hit his two wheeler from behind and the occupants in the car forcibly put him into their car and hijacked him. The kidnappers contacted Abdul Rahman's son and threatened him to pay Rs.50 lakhs. Subsequently, his son contacted the District Superintendent of Police Mr. Santosh Hadimani, I.P.S and registered a complaint. On the advice of the District Superintendent of Police I.P.S, Abdul Rahman's son kept talking to the kidnappers. All the police personal in the district were alert and ready. The police personal who were involved in the intensive search operation used the phone number of hijackers to find out their location and surrounded them. The shocked hijackers dropped Abdul Rahman in the field. The police recovered him with the help of the public.
