Many people do not seem to know that the headlights are dimmed when driving at night. Dim and Bright modes selection is provided on the headlight-turn indicator lever. Bright mode is the ability to spread light in the right direction for long distances. The light can spread over a distance of more than 100 meters. When the bright mode is entered, a blue light appears on the meter console.
In dim mode, the headlight’s light only falls below a certain level. Only use dim mode on city streets with street lights. Use bright mode on highways and dark roads. If the vehicle is in front or in front within 200 meters, the headlights should be in dim mode.
Brighten the headlights at regular intervals to signal the driver of the oncoming vehicle when overtaking, as the horn should not be used at night. Always alternate dim and bright modes on curves of your vehicle to oncoming vehicles. This will help to announce the presence. When your vehicle’s headlights are in bright mode, the oncoming vehicle’s flashing is a request to dim.
Indicators: The oncoming vehicle suddenly turns left or right and takes a single turn. Every day we see many such people on the road. It is even suspected that the vehicle does not have a turn indicator. Pay special attention to running the correct indicator when changing lanes or turning in any direction on the highway.
Put the indicator at least 30 meters in advance when taking You turn. The indicator must be operated 200 feet before turning in any direction on a normal road.On the highway, it should be 900 feet ahead. Make sure the indicator is turned off after use. Do not assume that you have the right to turn anywhere just because the indicator is on. Only after making sure that the vehicle is not coming from the opposite directionturn to the side. Also pay attention to the rear traffic through the rear view mirrors. Do not push to the right for any reason to allow another vehicle to overtake. Show hand signal. If it is difficult, put the indicator to the left. The vehicle in the back will overtake you with the impression that you are adding a side.
