The same police station will also receive the award for the best police station in the state. The establishment of the Cyber Division within the Kerala Police is a proactive measure against the rising incidents of cyber violence, featuring 465 police officers under the guidance of the Inspector General responsible for cyber operations. The Cyber Division encompasses various components, including the Cyber Helpline (1930) for reporting cybercrimes, Cyber Police Stations, Investigation Help Desks, Research and Training Systems, Training Division, Cyber Patrol Units, and Cyber Intelligence Division. This development will enhance the Kerala Police’s capabilities in effectively investigating online cyber fraud cases, both domestically and internationally.
