Telangana, Hyderabad: On November 4, 2024, at 22:00 hours, Smt. Rubeena Begum, wife of Mohd Saddam, aged 28 years and residing in Afzalsagar, Mangar Basti, Mallepally, Nampally, Hyderabad, filed a complaint. She reported that she has one daughter and two sons and resides with her family. Rubeena shared that her husband struggles with alcohol addiction and, three months ago, consumed acid due to family issues.

On November 4, 2024, at 11:00 hours, her husband left their home with their youngest son, Mohd Shoheb, aged 4, to visit Osmania General Hospital for treatment. By 18:00 hours, they had not returned, prompting her to visit the hospital to search for them. She found her husband asleep in the hospital’s waiting area in an intoxicated state, but her son, Mohd Shoheb, was missing. She searched throughout the hospital and surrounding areas but could not locate him. Rubeena requested the police to take action to locate her son.
