Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: In the Kalakkad area of Tirunelveli district, while a police team led by Sub-Inspector Vinu Kumar was engaged in patrol duty, they observed a man named Sudalaikannu (37), a resident of Kovilammalpuram, standing in a suspicious manner. Upon searching him, it was discovered that he was in possession of banned tobacco products. Consequently, Kalakkad Police Inspector Kannan registered a case regarding this incident, arrested Sudalaikannu, and seized one kilogram of tobacco products from him.
