Manipur, Imphal West District: On November 3, 2024, law enforcement authorities in Manipur apprehended Khullem Sanjeep, also known as Bhim, a 30-year-old member of the AT group. Sanjeep is the son of the late Kh. Tomba and resides on Naoremthong DC Road. His arrest is linked to a violent incident that occurred in the early hours of October 31, 2024, during which two individuals from Senapati were assaulted in the Lamsang area. The police acted on intelligence regarding his involvement in this incident, which had raised significant concerns in the community. Following his arrest, Sanjeep was taken into custody and subsequently remanded into police detention to facilitate a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the assault and to ensure the collection of any further evidence related to his alleged criminal activities. The authorities are committed to addressing the issues of violence in the region and will continue to pursue any additional suspects connected to this case.
