Madhavaram: The Madhavaram GNT Road, one of the gateways to Chennai from other states, and Madhavaram Roundana, a 100-foot road junction, is the busiest junction in Chennai as it connects many parts of Chennai. Greater Chennai Police Commissioner Mr. Shankar Jiwal, IPS, on his orders, completed the work of setting up a traffic outpost with modern facilities at Madhavaram Roundana and CCTV cameras in the area.
On 01.07.2021, Commissioner of Police, Mr. Shankar Jiwal IPS inaugurated Traffic Outpost Station at Madhavaram Rountana. The Commissioner of Police also inaugurated the 4 ANPR cameras and 60 CCTV cameras installed in the area.
The Greater Chennai Police Commissioner handed over the traffic police equipment provided by Hyundai Motors to the Madhavaram Traffic Police.
Mr. Pradeep Kumar IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Joint Commissioners Mrs. R.Lalita Lashmi, IPS, (Traffic/ North), Mr. A.D Durai Kumar, IPS, (North), Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. A.
