Pawan’s bravery along with presence of mind saved a woman’s life at a railway station in the city. Pawan’s act has brought him accolades from Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar who described the incident as “heart in the mouth” one. “Had my heart in my mouth literally! Salute to constable Pawan Tayde of Lonavala police station for his presence of mind and swift action,” Kumar said. The footage purportedly shows a female commuter losing her balance while jumping off a train as it enters the station. The lady sprawls across the platform and then, alarmingly, gets partly stuck beneath the train. Luckily, she was spotted by a policeman who rushes to help and pulls her to safety.]]>
