<![CDATA[Mumbai: As the Mumbai Police were making their checks they came across two persons who were in possession of illegal guns and they were arrested in Jogeshwari (East) on Saturday. The persons who have been arrested were identified as Raju Hariram Tiwari aged 38, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar, Thane, who hails from Pali Tehsil, Uttar Pradesh, and Jagdish Rajaram Yadav aged 38, a resident of Taluka Kheda, Pune. Based on a confidential piece of information, a police team nabbed the two accused at Shivaji nagar, Shaheed Road. On checking the two persons the police found that they were in possession of four indigenously developed, unregistered guns, and two unused 8mm round bullets. On interrogating the accused the police found that the two were planning to sell the firearms off. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-VIII) Mr. Anil D. Kumbhare said that the investigations are on to find out from where they procured the firearms and to whom they were planning to sell. The accused were taken into police custody. ]]>
