NOIDA: The district administration of New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (Noida) has decided to act in coordination with the Police to resolve the issue of increasing traffic congestion. Senior Police officials and district magistrate NP Singh on Friday evening discussed issues related to resolving traffic congestion. Mr Singh said, “Police officers concerned must do their best to ensure that residents are not hassled by traffic. Congestion-prone spots in the district must be attended to immediately”. Police Control Room (PCR) vans were seen removing encroachments from areas such as Sector 18, Brahmputra and Ganga markets on Saturday.
Residents’ welfare associations (RWAs) have also approached Police and district administration to solve the issue of traffic jams. |
