Palakkad, Kerala: As the new academic year began, Palakkad district witnessed a positive cyber safety awareness initiative for school students. A special Cyber Security Pledge was organized in various schools to educate children about safe internet usage, protecting personal information online, and staying alert against cyberbullying.
The program, conducted with the support of the District Education Department and Cyber Cell, encouraged students to become responsible digital citizens. Teachers, public representatives, and PTA members participated in the school entrance ceremonies, where students collectively pledged to follow digital safety practices.
The initiative highlights the commitment of police and educational authorities to safeguarding children in the digital age and fostering a safer online environment for the younger generation.
