Thrissur Rural: On June 5th, in honor of World Environment Day, a significant tree-planting event was held under the esteemed leadership of Dr. Navneet Sharma IPS, the Honorable Chief of Rural District Police. The event was graced by the presence of several high-ranking officials, including Mr. Pradeep N. Wales, Additional Superintendent of Police; Mr. Krishnadas VA, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Special Branch; and Mr. Muralidharan M, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District ‘C’ Branch.
A host of other police officials and ministerial staff also actively participated in the ceremony, contributing to the collective effort to enhance the local environment by planting saplings. This initiative not only underscored the commitment of the police force to environmental sustainability but also highlighted the collaborative spirit among various departments in fostering a greener future.
