Hyderabad City: On 22.06.2024, the Asif Nagar Police, in collaboration with the Task Force, Hyderabad, apprehended the suspects involved in a murder case registered under the Arms Act at the Asif Nagar Police Station. The incident occurred on 19.06.2024 at 22:45 hours near Noble Talkies, Feelkhana Road, close to Amrutha Wines, Asif Nagar. The deceased, Shaik Ali @ Aleem, 32, a known rowdy sheeter from Habeeb Nagar, was identified as the victim.
The accused were identified as Mohammed Omer Bin Hussain @ Shahed, 29; Mohd Khaja @ Pasha, 32; Shaik Feroz Pasha @ Bara Galli Feroz, 30; and Syed Ghouse, 32, all residents of Hyderabad.
The deceased, Shaik Aleem, and the accused were friends who regularly met and consumed alcohol together at various locations such as Public Garden, Nampally Railway Station, Chandra Wines, and Mallepally Wines. Aleem, a rowdy sheeter known for snatching cell phones and money from unsuspecting individuals, often quarreled with the accused, using abusive language and even threatening them. When he lacked funds for alcohol, he would forcibly take money from the accused.
Tensions escalated five days before the murder when Aleem assaulted Mohammed Omer Bin Hussain @ Shahed and Mohd Khaja @ Pasha at Public Garden, threatening to kill them. Harboring a grudge, Mohammed Omer Bin Hussain @ Shahed decided to eliminate Aleem and enlisted the help of Mohd Khaja @ Pasha, Shaik Feroz Pasha @ Bara Galli Feroz, and Syed Ghouse, who also resented Aleem.
On 19.06.2024, around 10:00 PM, the group met at Mehdipatnam Auto Stand and searched for Aleem. They found him outside Mallepally Wines, where he was consuming alcohol with Mohd Khaja @ Pasha and Syed Ghouse. Later, Mohammed Omer Bin Hussain and Shaik Feroz Pasha @ Bara Galli Feroz arrived at the scene in an auto. Mohammed Omer Bin Hussain then attacked Aleem with a knife, with the connivance of the other accused.
The police seized one knife used in the murder, additional knives from Mohammed Omer Bin Hussain @ Shahed, and a passenger auto from Shaik Feroz Pasha @ Bara Galli Feroz. The accused, all with previous criminal records, were arrested on 22.06.2024 and are being produced before the Hon’ble Court.

Commissioner of Police, Asif Nagar Division, Hyderabad City. The Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, appreciated the team’s excellent work and announced they would be suitably rewarded.
