Bharuch, Gujarat: In a sustained crackdown on prohibition-related offences, the Bharuch Crime Branch successfully tracked down and arrested a listed bootlegger who had been absconding for the past five months.
The accused, wanted in connection with a prohibition case registered under the jurisdiction of Jambusar Police Station, was apprehended during a targeted operation at Vapi Railway Station in Valsad district.
Despite evading arrest for several months, the accused was located through persistent intelligence gathering and coordinated police efforts.
