Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Police Salary Account Scheme with Axis Bank, the claim process was completed efficiently, ensuring that the financial assistance reached the deceased officer’s legal heirs without unnecessary delay.
On 28 July 2026, Bharuch District Police Chief Shri Akshay Raj presented the ₹5 lakh cheque to the bereaved family in the presence of Axis Bank officials and expressed heartfelt condolences, reaffirming the police department’s solidarity with the families of its personnel during difficult times.
