The official health department officials conducted surprise check and arrested two persons pretending to be like doctors in Thalaivasal area on Friday. A team of the health department officials conducted surprise check in a clinic run by Vijayakumar (57) near Veeraganur bus stand. Enquiries with Vijayakumar had revealed that he had studied only up to Standard X and was offering allopathy treatment to the patients. The officials team preferred a complaint with the Veeraganur police which arrested Vijayakumar. Another team from Vazhappadi government hospital conducted surprise check in the clinic of Rajarajan (38) in Selliamman Temple street in Vazhappadi town. Enquiries revealed that he is a BA graduate. Vazhappadi police arrested Rajarajan.
