Singrauli: Police booked three persons for murder as they trampled a tribal woman mercilessly over a land dispute. The incident happened in the district of Madhya Pradesh called SIngrauli on Friday at Dhilari Village. The three accused who allegedly ran a tractor over a tribal woman of aged 30 were identified as Bandhu Bais, his son Lalpati Bais and Prabhakar, their close relative. The incident took place when an argument broke out between the deceased and the accused after the latter Friday ploughing farmland, claiming that it was theirs. Kiran, the deceased objected saying that the land belonged to her family since last three decades. Angered by her resistance, the accused trampled her down with the tractor impulsively that they were using for ploughing the field, said the police. They also had beaten up her father-in-law with wooden sticks, punched and kicked, leaving him with an injured body. The aftermath of the incident, the deceased was taken to the nearby hospital, however, her life could not be saved. Among the three culprits, two of them have been arrested and booked for murder and other offences and for arresting Lalpati efforts are on to trace him who left his father soon after the incident.]]>
