JAIPUR: Police registered an FIR against the mysterious death of Hukuma Ram Jat. The body of the deceased was found hanging from a tree in the outskirts of his village. The family members demanded a fair investigation into the case. Preliminary investigation into the death of Hukuma who died on Saturday mysteriously suggested that presumably he died by hanging. However, the family demanded fair investigation into the case and ex-gratia for the deceased. Ramu Ram, brother of the deceased stated that he was assaulted earlier too by some people. Police asserted to investigate whether it was a suicidal hanging or the victim was killed and then hanged to make it appear like a suicide. Police ensured probing the case from all angles and against whom Hukuma’s family lodged a case of kidnap and murder would be questioned said SP of Nagaur Vikas Pathak. ]]>
