Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: The District Police have called upon the public to actively participate in the “Abhuldayam Cycle Yatra”, a large-scale awareness program aimed at spreading the message “Say No to Drugs” and preventing the illegal transport of marijuana. District Superintendent of Police Sri K.V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, appealed to citizens to join the initiative and support the police in building a drug-free society.
The Morning Cycle Yatra will be held on December 16 (Tuesday) at 9.00 a.m., starting from Lion Gate and passing through Simhadwaran, Erramanaidu Arch Junction, Day and Night, Ramalakshmana, Suryamahal, G.T. Road, and Seven Road Junction, before concluding at the NTR Municipal High School Ground.
Following the cycle rally, a large outdoor public awareness meeting will be organised at the NTR Municipal High School ground, where the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of collective vigilance against illegal drug transportation will be highlighted.
The initiative reflects the proactive and community-oriented approach of the district police in engaging citizens, especially youth, in the fight against drugs and in strengthening public awareness for a safer and healthier society.
